I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
